One Egg Chocolate Cake

Last weekend Surya jiran depan rumah Mummy bagi chocolate kek yang sangat2 sedap. Mummy dah mintak resepi kat dia. Resepi tu dia ambik dari buku resepi. Biasalah kan nak bagi kek2 sempoi yang kita buat nampak mewah kena bagi nama2 yang panjang dan gah sikit... baru ada comercial value... betul tak.... so nama glamour kek tu One Egg Chocolate Cake atau boleh panggil Sebiji Telor Coklat Kek or Coklat Kek Sebiji Telor....heheh. 

Jom weekend ni kita buat kek sedap ni. Tak yah letak topping2 pun memang dah sedap kek ni. Kek ni sangat2 lembut dan gebuzzzzz

One Egg Chocolate Sponge from Edmonds Cookery Book

  1. pre-heat oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
  2. grease a 20cm round cake tin and line base with baking paper.
  3. melt butter and syrup in a small saucepan.
  4. pour melted ingredients into a small bowl.
  5. add egg and sugar, beat well.
  6. sift cocoa, flour and BAKING POWDER together.
  7. fold sifted ingredients and essence into egg mixture.
  8. dissolve baking soda in milk.
  9. fold into egg mixture.
  10. pour mixture into prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched.

  1. 11 leave in tin 5 minutes before turning out onto wire rack.
  2. 12 when cold ice with chocolate icing.
